Care

Please follow our guidance on taking care of your beloved jewellery for long lasting wear.

How to Wear and Store your Jewellery

When not worn, store in the pouch or box provided to avoid exposure to air. Each piece should be kept separately and should not come into contact with any water or chemicals such as perfume, hair spray, deodorant, lotion, make-up and nail polish remover. Do not go swimming (especially in chlorinated water) or shower with your jewellery. This can otherwise damage the metals causing them to tarnish and the stones to permanently become dull. These chemicals are particularly damaging to porous stones such as pearls, lapis lazuli, turquoise, onyx and chalcedony. Avoid wearing on beaches as the small particles of sand can be abrasive to your jewellery and become embedded in small crevices.

Following this one rule will help keep your jewellery looking at its best: the last thing on and the first thing off.

Cleaning your Jewellery

If your jewellery is looking a little dull or dirty, you can scrub it gently with a baby toothbrush and a drop of washing up liquid. Wiping with a lint free soft cloth can also help bring out its shine. Do not use a silver cleaning dip on any stones, gold filled or gold plated jewellery.
